Bride Price App is a Q&A mobile web app that hilariously shows prospective suitors the amount that maybe required of them as a bride price for their potential spouses.
The mobile web app however begins with a disclaimer that the creator of the app doesn’t take responsibility for what its users do with it. The web app is suspected to have been created by Anakle, a Nigerian digital agency. Anakle CEO Editi Effiòng, who has yet admitted the development of viral web app, said “it’s a humorous aggregation of Nigerian marriage stereotypes.” “Not to be taken seriously, but that’s probably why the disclaimer was out there. Again, marriage is one of the most popular topics of Nigerian social media, so it was only a matter of time someone app-ed the topic.” Anakle CEO added.
