Abducted Chibok Girls: Police Offer N50m Reward For Information

Weeks after the abduction of over 200 girls from a school in Chibok, Borno state, the Nigeria Police Force has offered incentive to anyone who will give information about the whereabouts of the missing girls. A statement on the website of the NPF reads thus:

The Nigeria Police hereby announce a cash reward of Fifty Million Naira 
(N50, 000, 000.00) to anyone who volunteers credible information that will lead to the location and rescue of the female students abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State.

The Force urges all patriotic citizens with such useful information to contact the following numbers:

While calling on the general public to be part of the solution to the present security challenge, the Police High Command also reassures all citizens that any information given would be treated anonymously and with utmost confidentiality.
