Nigerian develops Ebola drug, 'Nanosilver,' 8 patients to receive drug in Lagos

A Nigerian has developed an experimental drug to treat the Ebola Virus named, ‘Nano Silver’.
The minister of health, Onyebuchi Chukwu, has stated that the experimental drug was expected to arrive Nigeria on Thursday, August 14, 2014. The drug will be used to treat eight patients infected with the Ebola virus in Lagos.
The vaccine is considered approved by the World Health Orgainzation (WHO), given the organization’s initial declaration that experimental treatments are ethical in the case of the Ebola pandemic.
The Nigerian government on Wednesdayauthorized the use of experimental drugs for the treatment of Ebola.
