'Poem For The Dead And Dying' by MI Abaga

Tuesday, April 29, 2014

This is coming from the one and only Mr Incredible - MI Abaga. Obviously, he is moved by what has been happening in the country - bomb blasts, abductions, communal clashes and all other forms of insurgency. This poem should be framed and read every morning (Continue...)

 Someone should write a poem, for all the dead and dying;
Of how inside their homes, the blood is red and drying.
Of how night came upon them, with flames and desolation.
Of faces fraught with terror, and fear and resignation.
Someone should write the words, to comfort the bereaved
Who saw what knives and swords, had done. And those who grieve:
The ones without their parents, the friends who weep alone.
Who know the pain that settles and seeps into the bone.
Someone should write the story of all the dead and dying;
Some scribe should write it nicely, who is not bled as I am;
Some go-getter poet better who can get it done.
Someone should write this history, and if you are the one…
Tell them about the crying, tell any who will listen,
That there are people dying, and there are children missing.
They took young men’s lives, and infants from their mothers.
Ask if we should hope or seek deliverance from another.
Tell of the sons and daughters, murdered as they slept.
Tell of the slain and slaughtered, and elders who have wept.
Tell them the streets are bleeding, the gutters running red.
Tell them the people grieving have asked if God is dead.
Tell them of all the anguish, of drowning in its flood.
And speak it in their language of shit and piss and blood.
Of naked women taken, raped, and men they execute.
Of lying waiting, aching knowing that the next is you.
Tell them of dying nameless, in blood and excrement
And of surviving flames to perish in the next event.
Of how when the fires die, the stench of burning flesh
Rises to the sky, until the cycle turns afresh.
Tell them about the students, they ones they’ve been kidnapping.
And if they wonder why, explain what must be happening.
Tell them of homes abandoned, who see misfortune rising.
Repeat the names of all the dead until they memorize them.
A man is dust and ashes, a soul but breath and wind.
And life too quickly passes, with solace left unhinged.
So write of all the innocent, the victims of their plotting.
Call them: The Taken, or The Lost, but never The Forgotten.
Someone should write it all, because my words are bitter.
The pain to chronicle this, is more than I considered.
The skill it takes to craft it, is more than I have got.
Someone should write it all, for God knows I cannot.

#BringBackOurGirls: Abducted schoolgirls married off at N2,000, taken to Chad

A big blow has been struck at moves to rescue the girls kidnapped in Borno by Boko Haram militants after reports emerged that the children have been taken to other countries.
An elder from Chibok, where the girls were taken, is said to have stated that most of the girls had been married off to the militants at a bride price of N2000.
He also stated that the young girls had been taken by the insurgents to neighbouring Chad and Cameroon.
Daily Trust reports:
Dr. Pogu Chibok, who is the leader of the Chibok Elders Forum, told Daily Trust yesterday that latest information available to them indicates that most of the girls have been taken to the neighboring Cameroon and Chad by their captors.
He said before they were ferried in canoes across the Lake Chad, a wedding ceremony was conducted at a town on the border with Cameroon where they were married off to Boko Haram militants. He said N2,000 was paid as bride price on each of the girls to the specific Boko Haram members who took them from their school and who had assumed “ownership” of the students.
“They ferried them in canoes to Cameroon and Chad republic after they were wedded off to Boko Haram members who bidded (sic) and paid N2,000 each as dowries on their heads,” Bitrus said.
“The dowry was paid to their captors, the very people who abducted them from their school. One of them who married one of the girls took her to a border town close to Cameroon where villagers saw her.”

Bitrus said yesterday: “So many sources have informed us that the girls have been taken to Cameroon. Many villagers said they saw the girls being transported in trucks and then in canoes.
“On Sunday they were taken to Dikwa area where they (Boko Haram) have a camp there. From there they took them to Marte, then Monguno before they were finally ferried in canoes. It was yesterday we got this latest report of them being married off to the insurgents by their captors.”He said sources in Cameroon told them that most of the girls were now being held at “an area where the Boko Haram operates in Cameroon.”

On whether military authorities were informed about the movements of the girls, Bitrus said: “The military was alerted on Tuesday about two weeks ago when some villagers saw many of the girls being transported in trucks, some with even their school uniforms. The villagers tried calling the senator representing the zone but they couldn’t get him so they went to Bama barracks where they reported the matter.
“At the Bama barracks they were told that they must put it in writing, that that is the military tradition. At that time if the military had intervened they would have stopped them from reaching their destination.“And the fact that for nearly two weeks we have been talking about this and nothing is being done, then there are questions we have to ask. Nobody did anything.”
Bitrus sobbed as he spoke to our reporter yesterday.“What is happening with the Nigerian nation? I think we demand some answers. Today it is happening to these unfortunate girls from Chibok, tomorrow it may be somewhere else and that is why all Nigerians must rally around us on this,” he said.

“Female parents have been crying day and night, because nobody knows what government is doing about the whole issue. All that we read in the pap

“Stop Using Chloroquine, Artesunate To Treat Malaria” – WHO Tells Nigerians

Monday, April 28, 2014

The World Health Organisation had placed a global ban on the use of chloroquine and Artesunate in 2005. Nigerians have been advised against the use of Chloroquine and Artesunate for the treatment of malaria.
Nnenna Ezeigwe, National Coordinator, National Malaria Control Programme, gave the advice in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Friday in Abuja.
She, however, recommended that people should take only Artemisinin Combination Therapy, ACTs, when they test positive for malaria.
“If your test result is positive, take only Artemisinin Combination Therapy (ACTs). Do not treat malaria with chloroquine, artesunate or other monotherapies.
“The ACT with green leaf is good quality and affordable; Ask for it,’’ she said.
When contacted, Adeline Osakwe, Deputy Director, Pharmacovigilance, Food and Drugs Information Centre, NAFDAC, said the use of chloroquine and artesunate in Nigeria was being gradually phased out.
“Since 2005, the use of monotherapies such as Artesunate, Chloroquine had been discouraged in favour of Aretmisinin Combination Therapy (ACT) for uncomplicated malaria.
“These ACTs include Arthemeter/Lumenfantrine, Artesunate/Amodiaquine, and other registered ones. Ms. Osakwe said that the monotherapies are gradually being phased out by not registering new ones and not renewing those that their licenses had expired.”
The World Health Organisation, WHO, had placed a global ban on the use of chloroquine and Artesunate in 2005.

T.B Joshua Declares Divine Rescue Operation Underway For Abducted Schoolgirls

Nigerian Pastor T.B. Joshua proclaimed to his congregation on Sunday 27th April 2014 that the abducted schoolgirls in Borno State were on the verge of being released by ‘God’, adding that almost half had already escaped their kidnappers clutches.

Amid mounting public fury and an international outcry over the fate of 230 kidnapped Nigerian teenage girls – now missing for nearly two weeks – the controversial cleric declared, “They have to be released. That is the voice of God!”

He proceeded to describe a revelation he claimed God had shown him. “I saw a vision where some of these girls have escaped and they are trying to find their way from the forest to the town.”

He added that the remaining children under custody would also be released soon. “God has spoken – these children must be released,” Joshua authoritatively declared. “We can’t wait to see them.”

In a message broadcast live via Joshua’s widely viewed station Emmanuel TV and subsequently posted on his official Facebook page followed by close to 1,000,000, he counseled the girl’s parents to know that people felt their pain. “It is not your battle alone but the battle of all people of God all over the world. They are also our children.”

Joshua, however, warned that security forces involved in rescue efforts should be careful not to be drawn into unnecessary confrontation. “God has promised all of them will come out free, without harm and hurt. However, if there is unnecessary confrontation, it may affect them,” the pastor, whose recent YouTube clip showing a prophecy of the ill-fated MH370 plane went viral and garnered international media attention, cautioned.

“Let us be prayerful and at the same time be tactical and strategic, so they will not harm our dear schoolgirls,” he advised. “Their captors are in a place where they cannot move forward or backwards. Confrontation is dangerous.”

Joshua then led the 30,000 strong congregation at The Synagogue, Church Of All Nations (SCOAN) in prayer. “Pray for the protection of these girls. Remember our security forces too in prayer. Ask God to give them more wisdom and a clean and clear strategy, so that their approach will not be attack for attack. No matter what the militants do, even if they attack, they should not attack back in order not to harm our girls.”

The Nigerian cleric, who is touted to be one of Africa’s 50 most influential people and was the recent focus of an Associated Press interview, concluded by advising his supporters to observeTuesday as a day of prayer. “With God, all things are possible.”

His Facebook post was signed off with the hashtag #BringBackOurGirls which has come to characterize the voice of concern from social media users as to seemingly lackluster response from the Nigerian government to the crisis.

On Monday 14th April 2014, insurgents suspected of belonging to the jihadi group Boko Haram abducted the girls, who were students at Chibok Government Girls’ Secondary School, from their dormitories, loading them onto trucks, before setting the boarding school ablaze.

The girls, who are all aged between 16 and 18 and mostly come from Christian families, are thought to be held captive in a notorious region called the Sembisa Forest, a known jungle hideout of Boko Haram in Borno State. The search and rescue operation for the remaining captive teenagers has yielded no positive results so far, and to mounting public frustration, has also been shrouded in secrecy.

British Foreign Secretary William Hague said he is “appalled” by the abductions. Former Prime Minister Gordon Brown said he too was in contact with the Nigerian authorities and had offered assistance. “The world must wake up to the escalating tragedy now engulfing Nigeria,” he said.

Wole Soyinka and other human rights activists have expressed the widely-held fear that the girls could be held for years to be used as sex slaves. There is also speculation in Borno State that they are being used as human shields to deter military action against Boko Haram camps.

Yes! magazine replies Harrysong, insists he did say his parents are siblings

Yes! Magazine quoted singer Harrysong as saying his parents are siblings in an interview with them a while back. Harrysong released a statement some days ago denying he ever made the comment. The magazine editors have now released their own statement insisting that he did say it.
Our attention has been drawn to a very disparaging comment from Harrysong, an up and coming artiste over an interview we conducted with him at Kcee's Omole Phase 2, Ikeja, Lagos home.
As a responsible medium, Yes International! had wanted to ignore him and his deliberate act of mischief. But on a second thought, we decided otherwise, because in our considered opinion, it will be suicidal to disregard the young man's insinuations and cheap blackmail. However, we are also not unaware of Harrysong's ignorance and this again is a restraining factor on our side. Continue
So, we wish to inform Harrysong and people like him that a print medium or any organization for that matter that deals in news has a right to stagger any interview. What is giving him sleepless nights is the content of the interview which very few people will be proud of. But he did not speak under duress. So, we are wondering what prompted this sudden outburst and antagonism. More so, when he applauded the interview at the time it was first used on the cover of our magazine.

For the records, it is important to state that this controversial interview resurfaced because our website crashed and in rebuilding it, we are uploading our lost materials. In addition, we wish to inform Harrysong that the original tape is still intact and if he wishes to listen to his voice one more time, he is free to drop by at our Budland, Ikeja, Lagos office. Likewise any other person.

Boko Haram changes location of abducted girls as troops intensify search

As the Nigerian military begins a massive combing of the dreaded Sambisa Forest in a bid to rescue about 191 female students of Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, abducted 13 days ago, it has been disclosed that the Boko Haram gunmen have also changed tactic in a bid to avoid detection.
It was learnt that the heavy deployment of troops around the forest has also made the insurgents continuously change location with the abducted girls.
A resident of Bale village in the neighborhood of Sambisa Forest, confirmed that there was increased deployment of troops in the area some days ago and heavy gunshots were heard coming from inside the forest.
Confirming the development on phone yesterday to LEADERSHIP Sunday, Director of Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade said, “Yes, you got your gist right; we are closing in on the insurgents. We are doing everything within our powers to rescue the abducted girls and return them to their parents safely. As you know, what makes the operation very delicate is the safety of the girls; we want them rescued safely. I can confirm to you that we are not leaving anything to chance to rescue the innocent schoolgirls. I just returned from the area (Chibok) this afternoon”.
A farmer in the village of Izge also narrated how he saw the abducted girls being moved around by the insurgents in trucks in the forest. He also said that it was the second time he had witnessed the girls were being moved in different locations.
Meanwhile, one of the girls, who managed to escape from the insurgents recently, said their escape was made possible when they were allowed to go to a nearby river to fetch water after the insurgents had set up camp for the night.
She said when they were instructed to go fetch water from the river for cooking, they decided to escape into the bush, not knowing the direction they were headed.
She added that not all the girls that escaped made it safely back to town as some of them were recaptured, while some were still wandering in the bush.

Shocking revelation about Biko Haram, abducted girls and Sambisa forest

Dear Shekau, we are on our way to Sambisa Forest – By @Obajeun

Dear Abubakar Shekau,
I don’t know if you are a beast with human face, but I will, for the purpose of our conversation, refer to you as a living human, barring the fact that you have succeeded in turning all of us into living ghosts. We know you have the power to break, kill and rape. We only have the power to be your victims – we are at your mercy. For now, permit me to wipe my tears and come back to you.
******
By now, you must be back to Sambisa Forest from Abuja after you visited Nyanya to appraise the level of damage your boys did while on their way to hell. Congratulations on this evil feat, you are a Satanic HERO!!! Bravo!!!
There is a question that has suffered from Nigerians’ passion for debate, the question has been on for years and we don’t seem to be fatigued – whether you are working for God or the other way round. Either we like it or not, the message is that you are working for someone who sucks blood for a living and bath with motley blood of innocent civilians. Whoever that person is, he or she must be a beast. As both of us know, beast begets beast. Dear Shekau, you are a beast!
A hitching history, a haunting tale, and hazy dreams, all conspired to define nothing and yet, they defined us. Nothing is life; we are now nothing, a conspiracy theory of pains. Pains, feelings of anomy, of gruesome fear, of tears cascading in bitter drops and of a grin smile full of sorrow. Now there is evil in our thought, evils of the mind and of feelings. We are mourning, we are rolling in tears, we are sobbing, and we are gnashing our teeth, for everyone of us has witnessed to tears.
It might interest you to know dear Shekau, that we have a ruling class that has become a byword for a bizarre and berserk variant of kleptocracy. Unfortunately, the Nigerian state has proved itself to be incapable of arbitrating or mediating anything, except when it comes to the deployment of gratuitous and autistic violence against different constituting units and nationalities.
Like a childlike monstrosity, the Nigerian bandit leadership that you have succeeded in confusing, is frozen in conception as an instrument of Colonial Terror against captive nationals, utterly incapable of coming up with an organic structure that will satisfy the yearnings and aspirations of its captured natives courtesy of your evil trade.
Dear Shekau, we cannot rest because our sisters remain stashed away in your thick forest. We have swallowed a pestle, neither can we stand nor sit any longer. We cannot have a moment of comfort when our sisters might be languishing in a place far beyond our tears.
We have been coping with many betrayals and aborted hopes. Somehow, and like a stumped lover, we have always found the strength, the fierce energy to move on. But this time the omens of national regeneration are murky. You have tormented us for too long.
We have been told that you have separated our sisters – mature ones and immature ones. Fatimah, 20, she is the oldest. Can you please instruct your boys not to denature Fatimah? She nurtures a dream to build a future of economic justice and socio-political inclusion. The caveat here is that her dream is bigger than the manhood of your boys and her blood is bitter to suck. You will do yourself great justice if you can shield Fatimah from molestation. No worries, she will cook for you in tears and curse your boys while they randomly throw evil look at her until we come to fetch her.
Yes, we are on our way. Yes, the civilian army, we are on our way to fetch Fatimah and others. We are armed with our tears. We are armed with our resolve to confront the beast in you. We are armed with our conviction. We are armed with strange strategy that we will not reveal to you for security reasons. We are taking on the unsure future.
Since we are the ones you kill and rape, we have decided to face the evil giants, to take our battle to your door step, Sambisa Forest. Please open wide the path to your creek, you will host the people you hunt. We will invade you with our civilian innocence and shower you with our plea. Let your boys be prepared, there will be thousands to rape and there will be sea of bitter blood to drink by force!
Yes, the civilian army, we are coming!!!

South Korean PM resigns over ferry disaster that claimed 300 lives

South Korean Prime Minister, Chung Hong-won, this morning Sunday April 27th announced his resignation 11 days after a ferry carrying school children on a field trip to the island of Jeju capsized and sank, killing over 300 people.

PM Hong-won made the announcement at an emergency news conference that held in the country's capital, Seoul, early this morning, days after his government was fiercely criticized about how it responded to the disaster. The PM took responsibility for the slow response of the rescue operation..
"I offer my apology for having been unable to prevent this accident from happening and unable to properly respond to it afterwards. I believed I, as the prime minister, certainly had to take responsibility and resign." the PM said.
The captain and all crew members of the ship rescued themselves leaving 300 school children, teachers and other passengers to their fate. They have all since been arrested and facing charges ranging from criminal negligence to abandoning passengers. The confirmed death toll as of today is 187, while the rest are still missing and presumed dead.

UK, US join search for abducted schoolgirls in Borno state

According to a report by Punch, the UK and US government have joined the search for the 234 abducted schoolgirls from the Government Girls Secondary School, Chibok, by Boko Haram men.

On Friday April 25th, the British Foreign Secretary, William Hague, said the UK had begun talks with Nigeria over the incident. (Some mothers of the abducted school girls pictured above)
"The appalling abduction in northern Nigeria on April 14 is a stark reminder of the threat of sexual violence faced by women in conflict prone areas. I am very concerned that the majority of the girls are still missing. I spoke to Nigerian Foreign Minister, Wali, about this case on 18 April, and we are talking to Nigerian authorities about how best to assist in their efforts to secure the girls’ release and bring those responsible to justice.” Hague said. Continue...
Punch is also reporting that on Friday, the Nigerian Government also enlisted the intelligence services of the United States in the search for the abducted girls.
A competent security source said the Federal Government would rely on the higher technology of the US and UK to facilitate the search for the missing girls.
The source, who pleaded anonymity, stated that there would be no physical presence of operatives of the Western agencies in the operation to rescue the girls.
The source stated, “The whole emphasis is on intelligence gathering; and that is why the Federal Government is contacting the US and the UK to assist in the area of intelligence gathering. Another thing you must know is that several arrests have been made, and a lot of efforts are being made.
“The security guard at the school in Chibok is being quizzed and some people from the community too have been arrested,” the source said.

Shocking revelation on Boko Haram and Sambisa camps holding abducted girls

Here's an article written by
Dr. Peregrino Brimah about Boko Haram, the abducted girls, and the Sambisa forest.
If these stories are anything to go by, we seriously need prayers in this country.

Find article below...

Nigerians and the world must know what the true
situation in Sambisa and other forests in Borno is. It
was in the media that the families who ventured in
pursuit of their daughters turned back when they
approached the terrorist camps. The media reported
that what they saw, was “serious,” but they will not
say it for security concerns. We are obligated to
reveal what they saw. Continue...

Inside Sambisa Game Reserve
From the credible participants we spoke to, the camps are real and live. The civilians actually reached the Boko Haram camps in Sambisa four days ago. The mission was led by the army division in Borno, who were in the front, while the civilians followed behind. Upon reaching the periphery of the camp and realizing the threat they faced, the civilians were advised to turn back. When they asked if the military would engage the terrorists, the army commanders responded, “we were given no such directive.”

Boko Haram camps in Sambisa are not hidden. The terrorists camp in clear sight. The camp seen housed thousands of terrorists and their abducted families, up to 3000 people by conservative estimates. The terrorists were
seen walking freely in the camps, living a very normal life. Women were seen in the camps, these included the hundreds of women who have been abducted over the years.

The camps were kitted with generators delivering power to their devices. There were fridges, welding machines and all other household and technical equipments. Over 100 trampoline tents were seen, in which the terrorists dwell. It is not yet rainy season in Borno, so not much shelter is yet utilized.

We were informed that over 50 vehicles were seen in the Sambisa camp. There were hundreds to thousands of motorcycles.

After the civilians turned back and returned to the metropolis, it was related that the army too came back, evidently having not engaged Boko Haram in any physical way. For them it was just another day, another month in another year, scouting the Boko Haram ‘barracks.’ The situation is the same in other forests like Banki and Buniyadi, according to the credible people we spoke to.

The Desperate State Of Insecurity
With the above registered, the world must recognize that there is evidently a standing accord between Boko Haram and the Nigerian military. The military knows and has always known where they hide in plain sight, but is either not equipped, or not interested in ending their reign of terror.

A recent media report in the Vanguard described how a US- based StrategyPage report presented that Boko Haram terrorists were so wealthy; they had actually bought government and security officials over. The source of Boko Haram funding has never been exposed to the people. The Nigerian government continues to cover this up, protecting the sponsors; thus the four year long reign of unlimited sponsored terror with absolute impunity is far from its end. Like the government, Boko Haram thrives on the explosive state of corruption.

Boko Haram invests way more than Nigeria does in equipping and boosting the morale of its army. Boko Haram is today an institution and a well functioning one that pays top dollar to purchase tentacles at all levels of society. Fear and corruption facilitate its growth in this regard. In contrast, the Nigerian government sabotages its army and underfunds and under-equips them. A latest report by the BBC revealed that Boko Haram pays $3000 to purchase mercenary recruits from neighboring countries like Niger. Increasingly perplexed by the course of the war, Nigerian soldiers have been deserting the army according to several reports and military sources. They are frustrated as they realize there is no honest intention to combat the terrorists whose locations are known and are left to operate freely. Soldiers are approaching activists to volunteer their services in a true battle they believe in, after they leave the Nigerian army.

Nigeria is in trouble! We the people know and realize that this situation must be checked in Yar’Adua style— eliminated in totality. Boko Haram must be starved to desperation in their camps and the terrorists must be engaged and killed without remorse. A similar conflict between Nigeria and Chad in the 80’s had the Nigerian army under then Brigadier Muhammadu Buhari, with the 21st Armored Brigade, cut supplies and starve the Habre Chadian troops, thus retaking the 19 Nigerian islands. The efficiency of the Nigerian army is also fondly recollected in its commanding role in solving the Liberian crises. But today, our army cannot capture Sambisa. They are not engaging Boko Haram with any determination to win by any method whatsoever, under whatever directives they have from Abuja; and now it is way passed time we the people do this for ourselves. We simply have no other choice.

Furthermore, our reliable suppositions were again confirmed today with the arrest of some of the “unknown 100 gunmen,” usually reported as “Fulani herdsmen” who have been ravaging the middle belt since 2012; these men confessed according to the DHQ, to being part of Boko Haram. We have analyzed their mission and operations which have involved the massacre of towns and burning all in sight, as being coincident with the mission of Boko Haram: ultimate goal, the destruction of life in large parts of north Nigeria. If further studied, these “100 men” not only dressed and killed and destroyed just like Boko Haram; but also started off provoking ethnic crises, first attacking “Christians,” and when this failed, they as with the primary Boko Haram now moved to the full massacre of all towns, irrespective of creed or ethnicity. The gunmen arrested and displayed looked anything but Fulani; supporting this realization, in times past, some killed marauders have been described as foreign mercenaries. The chronic misinformation on the mission and identities of these marauders and failure of the government to accost them for a whole three years, suggests a sinister, pervasive plan to purposely provoke deadly ethnic tensions in Nigeria.

Trust Breakdown: The State Security Department Takes To Lying
Nigeria’s military and security department has taken to lying to cover their wrong actions or inaction. They lied about the number of girls abducted. They made up an imaginary number they claimed they had freed. They lie about how many are killed and how many they kill in millions. The most recent lie was made by the junior minister of defense, Musiliu Obanikoro who said so on Channels TV, Monday, that no helicopters were used to supply terrorists. This is a categorical lie. We have confirmed from numerous sources including released abductees, who described how choppers flew in to the camps and dropped Mr. Biggs snacks, chicken, burgers and things, bought from the Borno metropolis. There is no doubt as to the accuracy of this information.

Apparently there is cooperation with the military and treacherous military cover-up. We the people must act and time is running out. Soon Boko Haram will be too big to contain and then they can over throw not just the north, but the entire nation as has happened and been attempted by terrorists in neighboring nations and across the world. The time to act is now. It has been four years that this terror has been going on unchecked and distressingly, increasing in amplitude by the day. The bombing of Nyanya was reviewed by Brian Michael Jenkins and Bruce R. Butterworth, the terrorism experts from the Mineta Transportation Institute (MTI), as being the fifth worst episode of such explosives attack in any nation across the entire world since 1970! The abduction of 234 girls is another topper on the list of few similar abductions in recent world history. The president of Nigeria flew in his hoards of private jets first to Ibadan for a birthday party, then to Kano to dance at a pre-legally permitted campaign rally within a day of the attacks, in a show of disconnect from the terror situation and possible uncanny delight. The incompetence and lack of interest of our current administration in handling this epic crises is not debated and not a today topic. The current reality necessitates the response and active action of the people before all hope is lost along with the lives and limbs being blown away.

Self Help: Embarking on Urgent Civilian Intervention
We are recruiting all support, supplies and volunteers to surround and eliminate Boko Haram in their forest camps. This is a dangerous task, but the Almighty will give us the strength and victory against these enemies of the state, of peace, of man and God.

Time is of the essence. We do not know what these 200 girls are going through, the type of horrific molestation in the hands of these beasts. *God forbid! And not only them, so many of our fellow citizens, mothers, sisters, daughters, brothers, fathers and sons have been trapped with the terrorists for years. It is time for us to do for them what we would want them to do for us, had it been us in the camps or our daughters there.

The parents have vowed to dare again into the forests to rescue their wards. By God’s grace, many of us will go with them. We will also assist them with all the supplies they may need.

We Need Everybody
We invite a homogeneous response from Muslims, Christians and others alike. The Doctor Amadi (JP), Muslims Against Terror organization, who are deeply involved in this rescue mission, it can be recollected played a vital role in reversing a Boko Haram trend of bombing Churches in 2012 when they released the Communiqué captioned, “Official Communiqué from Muslims Against Terror, Nigeria: Fear None Save Allah. Defend Islam, Defend People, Defend Churches, Defend our Nation.” Many of us read this strong message, and supported by calls of the same from Sheikh Gumi as relayed on SaharaReporters, Boko Haram left Churches alone and declared Muslims their new top enemy; they have since killed numerous Muslim scholars. We are all in this together. The more we come together, the more frustrated Boko Haram and their evil sponsors become.

Nigeria’s billionaires who exclusively benefit from the corrupt failed system, and whose ill gotten wealth sponsors our unique terror crises which we now export to neighboring nations and around the world, are nowhere to be found now that we need urgent action and contributions. We the ordinary people have only ourselves. All prayers and all forms of contributions to the desperate people and their urgent missions in Borno go a long way and are urgently needed. Emergencies like this are never planned for or expected. The mothers plan to go back into the forests soon and we hope we will be there with them.

It is touching how many of our youth have decided to volunteer in this divine mission against the terrorists. It is simply humbling. It says a lot about the true purity of spirit and faith of Nigerians, when seen through the murky layers of cabal instituted corruption. These young men setting out for Borno will also need our support for their sustenance in
this altruistic mission.
Thank you everyone. We will win against Boko Haram and we will win against the persecution of tyrant, usurper cabal who keep us in this compromised, denuded, betrayed, painful state of existence.

Photos: Ogun state politician allegedly batters wife

Just got this mail from an NGO that deals with domestic violence cases. According to their story, the woman above is the wife of an Ogun-state politician named Bashorun Bayo Awosanya. He allegedly attacked her at their residence in Sagamu on Easter Sunday April 20th around 8.30pm after an argument. The lady was saved by their gateman who heard her cries for help from his station.

She's currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Sagamu. Her people figured it won't hurt for people to see what the man did, so they sent the pics to the press. This madness has got to stop! You have to be the lowest of the lowest scum to hit a woman so bad she lands in the hospital. Continue to see more photos...
