Senator Chukwumerije passes on

The Senate has announced  the death of Senator Uche Chukwumerije in the evening of Sunday. Senator representing Abia North district on the platform of the PDP died at the Turkish Hospital, Abuja.

 Senator Chukwumerije, aged 76, died after a long battle with lung cancer.

 Details of his burial will be announced by the family in due time.

 May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace, Amen!
